Update update

Lately been in "busy" mode of work. Below are my few updates

1) Transferred to new section. Previously i was in MCI section only to find out that i am not interested at material and inspection(routine) job scope. Thus before i "waste" my time, i made the decision to change to Maintenance strategy and Planning. Been more interested in technical planning, that the best section that i could be. Luckily both managers are willing to release and accept me. Thus the transition period is quite smooth but it does create some buzz among the colleagues in the department. Many came and talk/questions/"pycho" me about the decision. They felt that i shouldn't make that move as in their opinions, it would damper the career planning. Just to wish to highlight here. Everyone is different with different perspective and of course life journey. Thus "dont compare with others, you have no idea on what their life journey is all about". Hopefully my choice is correct and currently i am adapting well in the new section with nice managers and helpful colleagues.

2) Attended my 2nd sister wedding reception cum family gathering in Melaka. Ya it yet another marvelous gathering with all my siblings and parents around. Looked at how my sister dressed up that night made me realize i actually gt beautiful sister...Hahahaha. May be see them too often will sometimes make me boring:P A disguise in the blessing....i lost my nike shoes in Melaka...Some bastards just climb inside my sister's house garage n stole it... May be it is fate d...wat to do...

3) Miri games kicked off. I am in charge of bowling event for my team. Observed my players performed in the training, scoring an average of 130 made me feel that the team got chance to get better position. The thought was all totally naive...On the event itself, my team kena tapao like nobody business. Other teams average score was around 150 while my team didnt perform with the average score only around 110. Definitely i was very dissapointed and been hit with the reality that there are still long way to go before my team can really challenge for better position.

4) Normally people talk about bad service of AA due its low cost concept. I did agree to a certain extend. But just recently i encountered a different side story of AA. I was planning my trip to KK next week. Just few days i recieved sms fr AA informing that my flight which suppose to be 8am change to 11am. of course i am quite dissapointed. Thus i emailed AA to seek for compensation( ppl think i was fussy ). But at the end, AA told me that they cnt provide compensation but they allow me to change my flight time without any additional charges. That really come out my surprice as i didnt expect it. Anyway i am glad with the outcome and i will be spending extra day in KK due to change in flight time.

I think that all for now...Will be accumulating my updates for my post..see ya.

"Aftermath" of PIPE 53

PIPE 53, been rated as the 2nd best PIPE session ever organized by Petronas is the results of all those exciting pipers. Been able to join it is a total privilege for me, meet up with great facilitators and pipers is added bonus for me.

From the initial naive thought of "fobia" of this programme mainly due to its duration to the sense of satisfaction and joy after the program enough to describe the effectiveness of this program. I did recieve tonne of possitive comments from previous session pipers, but i am not 100% believe what been said. But apparently, no one can hide the truth. It indeed an ideal start for those petronas new exec in their working career. Been motivated, energized and cherished definitely helped to kickstart in new working environment.

I am fortunate enough to get to meet and hang out with enthusiastic pipers regardless is fresh graduate or experienced. For fresh graduate, of course the talking "channel" will be almost the same. We talk aka crap lot...especially with this guy called AAKK...he know who is he, at least it spice the classroom session. For the experienced, it did provide me with excellent opportunity to learn from these guys especially as a fresh graduate like me who didnt know a single shit on working life...its challenges, expectations, bla bla bla..the lists go on...

Forget about the differences btw both groups, i strongly believe that even with so many "sharks" in both groups, PIPE 53 still managed to produce a great result and unite everyone under one roof. This is the most obvious and most encouraging scenario which i witness. Given a specific tasks, all of us can lay aside our differences( race, religion, social status), for the common goals , gave all the best that we have, and of course taste the glory of completion and success summarize the great time i had in this 16 shorts days.

Thank you PIPE 53,Pipers and For sure..PIPE 53 is the best!
